The GTI doesn't just feel better than its predecessor; it feels better than most any other car on the road today.

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I am seriously considering getting a MK7 for myself within the next year. I want to wait until the Performance Pack becomes available, but every time I read something like this, I want to own one NOW! Must...wait...for... limited-slip-diff. Also, dealers aren't really budging on prices so that improves my patience. However, I have decided that I want a Night Blue S model, because those plaid seats are the shizz, with the Performance Pack and Lighting Package, all for a not too shabby 28,305. I know...I know Focus ST blah, blah, blah...the Ford is a great car but at 33 years old, I want something that blends in a bit better.

Nope...it's a new thing. I kinda like it. I will tell you in some colors like white and silver you really don't notice it.

For some reason i am not enamored with the GTi. Never have been even though i've driven two different generations of the GTI. I guess you can't win em all

Stop it, stop it! I've been following this car for more than a year and if it weren't for a pesky engine fire, I'd be negotiating my options right now. Instead I have to wait at least until next spring to be able to afford it. The only thing keeping me sane about it all is that the Performance Pack should be available by then, or I'll know which kidney I need to sell for a Golf R.

I like the Focus...but after owning a black Mazda3 I will not buy another black car....and the GTI has better back seats for the kiddies.

Trunk too small, interior still cheap...insurance cost is insane. I love the WRX, if they still made a 5-door this would be a tough choice.

I prefer just the grill have lipstick like they always have, the lights are a bit much. I would by a FoST anyway, so it doesn't matter.

I was telling that I scheduled a test drive. But the car got snap up over the night and I went in to the empty VW dealership (VW without GTI is empty to me) the morning after.

...and the BMW dealers kept wanting me try their bagels. Decision decision decision.
